Common questions

How does the daily flip work?

You get one flip per calendar day, in your local time zone. Tap the rock to flip it. Some days there's a creature, fossil, or interesting rock underneath — other days there's nothing, and that's part of the rhythm.

The next flip becomes available at midnight, local time.

When does my next flip become available?

Midnight, local time. The app uses your device's current calendar date, not a rolling 24-hour window — so if you flipped at 11:55 PM, you can flip again 5 minutes later.

Can I get more than one flip a day?

No. One flip per day is the whole point of the game.

How do I back up my progress?

When you sign in — either with your phone number or with Sign in with Apple — your collection is saved to your account. If you reinstall the app or switch phones, sign back in with the same method and your collection comes with you.

If you don't sign in, your progress is tied to the device.

I'm not receiving the SMS verification code.

How do I delete my account and data?

Email chip.keyes88@gmail.com from the address on your account, or include your phone number / Apple ID email in the message, and ask for account deletion. Your account and all associated data will be removed within 7 days.

Where are you available?

Flip Rock is available in the United States and Canada. More regions later.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. iOS first; Android is on the roadmap.
